Vineyards & Terroir
Clos de la Mouchère is a historic 4-hectare monopole within the prestigious Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Perrières. Its old vines (60+ years) grow on limestone-rich soils that generate the cuvée’s signature flinty minerality, bright tension and floral lift. This unique terroir produces a wine known for power, precision and exceptional aromatic complexity.
Winemaking
Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in French oak barrels. Around 50% new oak is used, mostly in 350L barrels to achieve finesse over overt toastiness. The wine undergoes full malolactic fermentation and matures on fine lees for 10–12 months, adding creaminess and depth while preserving vibrant acidity. Boillot’s minimalist approach ensures a pure expression of terroir.
